FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?
Oregon is one of several states to allow direct access to physical therapy. This means that you do not need a referral in order to be treated by a physical therapist and use your insurance. However, it can streamline the process in the future and is still required for Medicare and Medicaid patients.
WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?
We currently accept Medicare, Medicaid, PacificSource, BCBS/Regence, and UHC. Additionally, credentialing is currently in process for MODA.
WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?
Please contact our clinic to schedule your initial evaluation and examination. We will email you or provide you with a link to new patient paperwork to print and fill out prior to your first appointment. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment.
HOW OFTEN WILL I BE COMING TO PHYSICAL THERAPY?
Each plan of care for physical therapy is determined on a individual basis and is tailored to each patient's needs and goals. Your physical therapist will discuss these recommendations and options with you at your first appointment and work with you to come up with a plan to maximize your success!
