DR. CAROL ROEDER PT, DPT, SFMA.
Dr. Carol Roeder, PT, DPT was born and raised in Bend, Oregon. She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 from The University of St. Augustine. Carol has spent the the early part of her career working in outpatient orthopedic clinics in the Greater San Diego area. In 2020 she decided it was time to return home to Bend where her family has continued to reside and her heart never truly left. This is when the dream of Osprey PT and Sports Medicine was born. Carol is joined by her husband, Paul, and their dog, Ren.
Carol has her Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) certification from the Functional Movement Systems program. This allows her to bring a functional movement pattern based perspective to her physical therapy practice.
In their free time you can find the Roeders outdoors - fishing, hiking or snowboarding depending on the season. Carol has also recently returned to training for and racing in triathlons. A passion she picked up in San Diego fueled by her desire to lead by example demonstrating a healthy lifestyle for her patients. She'll however be the first to admit that it's not always easy!
Carol also teaches in the newly established Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Oregon State - Cascades Campus educating our next generation of physical therapists!
